#31. Winning your self over with self love
Welcome!
In this episode I talk about the ways in which I realize I am undergoing stress, how my body reacts and plays out to the stress I contain, and finally how I choose to focus on the certain small things I am doing right rather than the 100 thousand things I feel I am doing wrong/not living up to my standards to.
I use a nice analogy of describing how my chemistry teacher used to help us all out during time of need, but used to be strict when there was no apparent pressure around. I explained that we are all versions of my chemistry teacher, always looking for better results and more growth, but sometimes when it starts becoming too stressful, we need to be extra kind and bend the rules for ourselves, starting by being ok with whatever is happening. We can choose to have very high standards, but we need to be kind to ourselves and ok with the fact that we may not always meet those expectations.
