In Part 2 Kim continues to build on how we will know false prophets and false teachers by their fruit. This teaching uses Jude's letter to the Church which confirms what Peter wrote in his letters that was covered in Part 1.
False prophets and teachers turn the Grace of God into sensuality. Their purpose is to get you to forget the Father, to have you follow them over God, and to rely on their prophetic words and/ or dreams. Sadly, we are witnessing today more leaders of the Church (pastors, prophets, teachers, apostles and evangelists) being exposed for sexual sin, abuse of power, and money exploitation.
While God judges the world, we as Christians are to judge the Church as Paul described in his first letter to the church of Corinth (1 Cor 5). What we see today in the Church is the people (the Body) are NOT holding the leaders (the Head) accountable. And, we wonder why the Church is in the state that it's in today.
We are to "be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."
Titus 1:16; Jude; 2 Peter 2; Deut 13:1-5; Jer 23:25-32; 1 Cor 5; 2 Chron 20:20
