A strange start to this morning's usually serene photowalk show concept. I'm by a road. A bypass. A busy, noisy, unrelenting bypass. Why? We're going to retrace some steps into the countryside and talk about a not so well documented English battle, the 3rd Battle of Newbury where tree protesters, tunnellers and a snail almost brought a planned £75M project to its knees.
