Melissa Pierce adopted two children and moved to a rural community for her husband’s teaching job. One morning Melissa woke up to discover that her husband had devastatingly passed away in his sleep. She now had to tick the box of a title usually reserved for those much older, widow.  Along with being a young widow, there was also the fact that her husband’s tragic death meant that she was now a single parent and needed to figure out how to step into that single parent role and shoulder the reasonability that had once been shared.

Incredibly she found her way through the grief and found love again and you will be amazed at what was not on her wish list in a new partner! Melissa has found a new purpose and created a business ‘Filled With Gold’, providing care packages to widows specifically to support them with their own self care in mind.
