Self talk is estimated to occur at up to 70,000 thoughts per day! It is a conversation you have been and will continue to have your entire life. For most people, they are completely on auto-pilot and experience their thoughts and emotions like the weather. They feel as if they have no control over it when, in fact, it is a key part of our life that we can design and use intentionally.
