The phrase "actions speak louder than words" describes very well how some people feel that have Acts of Service as their primary way that they want to receive love. It's not always about just doing something for your partner that they asked. It's about being proactive and anticipating their needs so that they don't have to always ask the other person to do something that needs to be done.
