A scary first day at work

※昨日の続きです。

私は、大学を卒業してすぐ、美容部員として働いていました。

プラダを着た悪魔の、ミランダ（メリル・ストリープ）を見ると、

いつも思い出すのが、その時の先輩です。

仕事の初日、緊張しながらその先輩に自己紹介をしに行ったとき、

ミランダのような、氷のような目で睨まれ、

無言で制服のタイをすっと直され、「よろしくね。」と言われました。

今ではいい思い出ですが、背筋が凍るくらい怖かったのを覚えています😂

わたしは、だいがくを そつぎょうして すぐ、

びようぶいんとして はたらいていました。

プラダを きた あくまの、ミランダ（メリル・ストリープ）を みると、

いつも おもいだすのが、そのときの せんぱいです。

しごとの しょにち、きんちょうしながら その せんぱいに

じこしょうかいを しに いったとき、ミランダのような、

こおりのような めで にらまれ、むごんで せいふくの たいを すっと

なおされ、「よろしくね。」と いわれました。

いまでは いい おもいでですが、

せすじが こおるくらい こわかったのを おぼえています。

Right after graduating from university, I worked as a beauty advisor.

Whenever I see Miranda (Meryl Streep) in The Devil Wears Prada,

I always think of one of my senior coworkers from that time.

On my first day of work, when I nervously went to introduce myself to her,

she glared at me with icy eyes just like Miranda’s, silently reached out and straightened my uniform tie, and then said, “Nice to meet you.”

Now it’s a good memory, but I remember it was so scary that

it sent chills down my spine.
