#322 Part 5: The Dangers of Sexual Immorality
As we come into a landing of this series on sexual immorality, this episode focuses on Sex as God's method for reproduction and how Sex is a weapon.
This episode will focus on three (3) foundational truths found in scripture.
Adam and Woman were both created in the image and likeness of God. They were both spiritual beings
that became human at different times: Adam first and then Woman. There was no other human being that Adam could relate to or reproduce with but Woman (bone
of my bone, flesh of my flesh). Woman was taken from Adam, from man… or she was taken from man "kind".
The Hebrew word for kind is "min" which means "boundary" or "within a group". In this context, the word "kind" represents boundaries for reproduction (male and female) and boundaries for habitation and living
things. Adam was created with the essence of God, that nature of God, or the God "kind". So, the nature and essence of man was divine up until Adam forfeited this divine nature in exchange for the sin nature.
After the flood, God gave all living things (all animals, birds, creepy things, and fish of the sea) to Noah and his family. He said to Noah to "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth". Not only did God say to be fruitful (habitation), but also for mankind He said to multiply (male and female) within the boundaries to expand the populace of that boundary (man, animals, etc.). With the blessing also came a fear and terror of every living creature as a result of the authority given to Noah and his family.
God blesses activities of reproduction that are confined to their "kind" -- male with female according to their kind or species. God's plan for us is to birth, build, and deliver children to our Heavenly Father to become the sons of God as we are. Therefore, we are commanded to stay within the boundaries of male and female (in marriage) reproduction in order to accomplish His plan for us. However, when we sexually sin, we are breaching the boundaries of God and contribute to the chaos in our own families and marriages. Simply put, sexual immorality is a rebellion against God's divine nature.
The Nephilim are a great example of how Satan breached the boundary of God's divine DNA when the sons of God took the daughters of humans and produced a hybrid species of giants. It was rebellion against God… a breach of the boundary of "kind".
In closing, one of the greatest weapons that God has given to us today is marriage and family and sex within marriage. When we return to marriage and family as God commanded, we will become the fear and terror in the earth. Sadly, this is not the case in the body of Christ today.
