A famous Japanese saying

「なせば成る、なさねば成らぬ、何事も

成らぬは人の、なさぬなりけり」

という有名な、美しい言葉があります。

仕事で頑張りたいとき、この言葉を見ると

背筋が伸びるような気持ちになります。

皆さんの座右の銘は、何ですか？

「なせば なる、なさねば ならぬ、なにごとも

ならぬは ひとの、なさぬ なりけり」

という ゆうめいな、うつくしい ことばが あります。

しごとで がんばりたい とき、この ことばを みると

せすじが のびるような きもちに なります。

みなさんの ざゆうのめいは、なんですか？

the lord of the Yamagata prefecture,

who rebuilt the poor Yamagata during the Edo period.

This なる means like “to achieve something”.
