33. 5 Unethical Practices in Therapy: Are You Guilty?

Listen Later

Today I prepared for you a SPICY episode. To be honest, I don't typically create this type of content, but I see how necessary it is to have this conversation, so here it goes! When I talk with Latina therapists who want to introduce coaching services to their current business model, they are often afraid of being unethical. During the multiple conversations I had with my private 1:1 clients and Aligned Coaching clients, we came to the conclusion that the one thing you fear the most is actually something that you are doing right now.

Just to make it clear, my intention is not to shame you. I want to offer a perspective that you might have not considered yet. That's why in today's podcast episode, I talk about five unethical things you are probably doing (and not realizing) in your therapy practice right now. Lista? Let's get into today's episode!

In this episode, I chat about:

  • What's happening behind the scenes

  • Are you curious about what it would be like to work with me? Try me for free!

  • A common fear among Latina therapists

  • Five ways in which you are probably being unethical in your therapy practice right now

  • What is the most ethical way to provide your therapy services with the best quality of care

  • Introducing coaching services enables you to do things that your therapy practice cannot

  • Why is it okay if you feel triggered by this episode
