Body Positivity is a beautiful notion... but today's episode explores how this concept might actually show up for us in our day-to-day lives.
After all... it's not what we say we are, it's what we do. And I will go further and say it's not just about what we do, but how we do it that truly matters.
Body image is an expansive topic, that will be a repeat theme on Self-Care Sermon, but with the changing of seasons to lighter, longer, warmer days... it is a potent reminder right now to be more discerning with our language, thoughts, and feelings towards Self and others. We cannot dull our senses to the mass media messaging, and even the most body positive people can easily get lost in the noise. But we can choose what voice we want to contribute... to ourselves and the collective. How can we make it a voice of loving compassionate kindness?
