TLC says it best in their song, "Unpretty". 

Money can buy pretty... but pretty will change tomorrow... and next year... and we will forever be chasing… always behind… never enough... if that’s our objective.

The time and energy and resources we spend chasing "pretty" keep us distracted from what we should actually be pursuing in this lifetime: our purpose, our passions, our dreams, our desires. 

In this season where New Year’s resolutions can still feel really loud or heavy... and where we might feel like we are drained or fading... I thought we could all use this reminder of our beauty-fullness today. 

Attraction, physical appearance... yes, they matter... but not at the cost of our self-love.

Happy Lunar New Year! 

We survived the year of the Wood Snake and have officially entered the year of the Fire Horse. 

We have shed layers. We have grieved losses and faced hardships. We have grown. We have evolved. A shift has happened and is continuing to happen, at an accelerated speed. I know that you can feel this. 

Today's episode asks us to look at what wounds we might still be carrying forward with us... and what stories are keeping us from even getting up on the horse before the ride has even begun. What is holding us back from our greatness? 

If there is one thing to walk away from this episode with it is this: You are enough. That is non-negotiable.
