  • I Don’t Believe Everyone Should Be Able To Vote

Concentrating power in the hands of a few – in monarchy, dictatorship or oligarchy – tends to result in power for personal benefit at the expense of others. Yet in spreading power among the many – as in a democracy – individual votes no longer matter, and so most voters remain ignorant, biased and misinformed.

  • 6 Reasons to Study Geography

Do you know where places are on a map?

I pulled these from a website call brainscape.com

I’m going to add my own touch to the end of each one.

    1. Look Smart

Let’s be honest: we all care about what other people think of us. That’s why our first important reason for studying geography is that it makes you look smart. Knowing basic geography can help you avoid embarrassing moments, impress a date, maybe even land a job.

But geography doesn’t just make you look smart. It actually does make you smarter, as our next reasons show.

Because the biggest way to look like a dumbass

    2. Put the News in Context

How are you supposed to understand the news if you don’t know geography? Knowing geography helps put current events in context.

For example, knowing that Hong Kong is a city in southern China can begin to help a person understand why it is politically different from the rest of China: it’s geographically isolated.

Most people are just brainwashed by the MSM anyway.

    3. Chart the Course of History

Geography not only puts current events in perspective, it help us understand history. A person can’t understand World War II without understanding the roles of the continental Russian Winter or the English Channel. Geography shapes the course of world history. Want to better understand history? Study geography.

    Straight up truth.

    4. Travel Smart

Without a basic sense of geography, it’s impossible to get the most out of travel experiences. If you’re heading to Spain, do you want to see misty mountains, rocky coastlines, or searing-hot cities? These questions will decide whether you head to Torla, Basque Country, or Sevilla. Study up before your next vacation.

    5. Understand Your Home

Geography allows you to understand the place where you live. People settle in specific places because of the landscape. For example, cities are almost always built on a river or other reliable water supply. What is the history of the place you live? How has the geography affected the area? These are the questions to ask to gain a deep understanding of your home.

Yes my city is on a river.

    6. Make Sense of Different Cultures

Human culture is fundamentally place-based: the land determines or influences the cuisine, clothing, architecture, even social relationships. Every aspect of a culture is affected by its geography.

Geography helps you understand and appreciate the incredible diversity of cultures around the world. Like with news, geography puts culture in context. To understand a people, you have to know something about their land.

This is why travel is so important. Once this Covid crap dies down, hit the road.

People who don’t own a passport have a limited view on the world.

  • Labor Day: A Quick What's It About?

Labor Day was first celebrated SEP 5th 1882 in NYC.

As with most holidays many citizens think it’s just a day off with little drama or religious connotations.

However, a 100 years ago there was quite a bit of controversy.

2020 will occur on Monday, September 7.

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September.

The history behind the holiday includes The Haymarket Riot in 1886 Chicago, The Pullman Strike and other events around the country - ck it out it’s interesting.

It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894.

Labor Day weekend also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans, and is widely celebrated.

    Interesting facts:

White clothes after Labor Day was often seen as a fashion “don’t”.

The first Waffle house opened on Labor Day. In 1955, in Avondale Estates, GA

The Adamson Act was passed on September 3, 1916 to establish an eight-hour work day.

There’s still controversy as to who started Labor Day.

  • The 0300 Test

We all need somebody in our life to tell us if we look like shit. That’s true love by the way, because it comes from caring not spite.

That person has your interests at heart.

    Spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, friend, family…

We need someone to let us know that shirt is too dirty

Those trousers have seen their last days

To occasionally ask are you going to wear that?

We all need some one to be close to, to help us, understand us and always be there during pain or happiness.

That relationship is generally called marriage, but can be a simple as a good friendship.

A great test or guide for determining if you truly have a friend is the 0300 test. Who can you call at 3 in the morning or 0300 military time that would come and get you if you were broken down on the side of the road? This list should be as big as possible. For many of us it is 1 or 2 people tops. How many of your friends would pass the 0300 test?

If no one is on your 0300 list, maybe you should tell someone you’re on theirs. I’ve added a few reliable friends letting them know I’m on their’s. Almost everyone you talk to about it will never have heard of it, but they immediately get the concept regardless of their politics or beliefs.

BTW, when you have 0300 friends you need to try hard to maintain contact with them. Do you best.

A person with human relationships is always happy.

And aren’t we truly lucky if we’re married to our best friend.

  • Is Kyle Rittenhouse an American hero?

Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, convicted sex offender = dead

Anthony Huber, 26, skateboard boy = dead

Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, pistol boy = shot in the arm. Had a weapon as a convicted felon. Made the stupid Facebook post about killing Rittenhouse.

There parents must be so proud of them.

None of these people were from Kenosha.

Protestors screamed and cried for the police. You pussies can’t have it both ways.

Media is calling Rittenhouse a white supremacist. What proof do they have. NONE.

Media got it wrong about several key issues like where Rittenhouse’s weapon came from WRONG.

Is Rittenhouse a modern American hero. Most 17 year olds are useless d-bags.

Rittenhouse has more guts than anyone in the country at this moment.
