Listen Later

Colombia is one of those countries where recently the Congress approved a new bill that introduced a legal definition of the right to disconnect for limiting the faculty of employers to contact and reach employees after work hours or during rest periods. In any case, the new law will bring some exceptions considering the level of the employee, the job responsibilities and the context in which the employer make contact, and also will introduce a new obligation with respect to the need to implement an internal policy around that topic for generating limits and a process for solving claims related to violations to right to disconnect.
