As you turn your attention to Me, the problem fades in significance and loses its power to trip you up. Most of the situations that entangle your mind are not today’s concerns; you have borrowed them from tomorrow (Jesus Calling). Be careful what you borrow.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." ~ Philippians 4:6

How are you showing up in your every day? Are you allowing God to be present with you? Or are you trying to control everything?

Have you ever given a thought that you borrow trouble? And if you can borrow trouble, don't you think it would be just as easy to borrow happiness?

When life teaches us lessons, they usually come in the wishing that pertains to control. If we can get a grip on our life, then it's much easier to feel like you are in control.

But as we know, feelings are different than facts.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Be careful what you borrow!

Your actions speak loudly, and so do your words. And when you decide to take A.I.M., it's important to realize what you are chasing. 

Are you going after what God desires for you? Or are you trying to control every step of the way?

What would happen if you would seek God daily, and draw up a resolution that you will seek Him always as you move forward?

Maybe you would be less stressed. Maybe you would see what God wants you to see and not be blinded by what gains your attention. Maybe you would find true joy.

Be careful what you borrow.

Because if you borrow trouble, trouble will knock on your door.
