34: Anti-racism isn't a self-help exercise for white folks.

Listen Later

To my fellow white folks in this community: making ourselves feel better by looking away from Black people's pain and pretending that we haven't perpetuated it is not self-care. Anti-racism is a lifelong, at times deeply challenging and uncomfortable, ongoing commitment - not a one-time personal development course or a self-help book we can put down and check off the list. Come on in - we need to talk.

The below is obviously not an exhaustive list of resources, but some that I have been sharing on an individual basis. There are many many more resources offered within each of these as well. Let's get to work.

COACHING & COURSES

She offers individual and group sessions for those seeking to examine the ways that they have consciously or unconsciously contributed to the harm of others and/or the sustainability of anti-Blackness.
