For a long time, I thought I felt terrible because life was just… hard.
Family court, co-parenting stress, healing from trauma, single-mom exhaustion — I fully believed that feeling sad, foggy, inflamed, and exhausted was just my baseline.
Turns out, it wasn’t.
I recently found out I have Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid — and suddenly, years of mental, emotional, and physical symptoms finally made sense. In this episode, I talk about how mind and body are deeply connected, how inflammation can impact mental health, what changed when I finally got blood work done, and why accepting “this is just how I feel” can sometimes mean missing something important.
This isn’t medical advice — it’s a PSA.
Life is hard, but you shouldn’t feel this bad just for being alive.
If this resonates, please go get your shit checked.
