#349 "Houston, we have a problem."
In spite of the serious problems that we see today in the world and in the Church at large, God always protects, provides for, and preserves HIS people. Today's episode builds upon the message that God has given Kim for 2025: Come out and be separate from the world. Again, all are encouraged to listen to the past 3 episodes for context.
Coming out and separating from the world is NOT for the sake of salvation. It is because we are saved, God is affirming His instructions to His people. Scripture affirms these instructions as we will see in today's episode.
Noah's instruction to build the arc is one example how God protected and preserved Noah's family. God protected the Israelites when He instructed them to go to the land of Goshen. And, Lot was also instructed to leave Sodom and Gomorrah before God's wrath was realized.
All of these examples had one thing in common. God's people had to participate in following His instructions in order to receive the protection, provision and preservation that God intended.
The evil that has penetrated our culture has also entered the Church. Sexual immorality is but one example that is rampant in the world today, and the Church is not immune. These behaviors are consistent with patterns in the Bible from long ago… as in the days of Noah, Lot, and during Jesus' ministry.
When you acknowledge the allegations against the Church today, you will see this pattern: where there is power (authority) and money, mostly likely you will discover the occurrence of sexual sin. Power, money, and sex are NOT limited to unbelievers. It exists within the Church today.
How does this relate to God's people today? Is God warning His people of impending judgment? Is He instructing His people to come out and separate from the indulgences of the world? You decide, but I believe God's instruction is clear. There is nothing new under the sun.
Now is the time to come out, be holy, and be set apart. What does that look like for you? Pray and ask God how He is providing instruction for your individual lives TODAY!
