It's PRIDE Month and since we are an LGBTQ+ identified and allies podcast we are dedicating all of June to 90s LGBTQ+ topics! Up first, we discuss the monumental two part episode of the series Ellen, the Puppy Episode. The series starred comedian Ellen DeGeneres and is notable during the 90s since Ellen, the comedian, just came out as gay, but also her character in the series was the first main television character to come out as gay, paving the way for more LGBTQ+ representation in the media, and thus bringing LGBTQ+ people to America's forefront. Jeff, discusses his coming out stories and also leads a round of Do You Know It?! And Andy rounds out the episode with a Then & Now.
