Some tense moments in a Las Vegas courtroom on Tuesday as a former gang member took the stand at the trial of Duane "Keefe D" Davis. James Macdonald made it very clear that he didn’t want to be there because even though he doesn’t like Keefe D he doesn’t want to be responsible for sending him to prison. Macdonald was one of eight witnesses called by the prosecution on the second day of testimony including a Clark county medical examiner, a first responder and Reggie Wright Jr. who was the head of Death Row security. At the Tupac Murder Trial on Monday jurors heard an audio recording that defendant Duane "Keefe D" made during an interview he did for a Death Row Records documentary. In it Davis is asked admits being in the car with the shooter who killed Tupac. He is asked if he would like to apologize to the Shakur family and he says no because he didn't do nothing. Plus a heated rivalry between the defense and a prosecution witness over who speaks first. Show info: Instagram: @that90spodcast Email: [email protected] Substack: @historyofthe90s Hosted on Acast. On Thursday at the Tupac Murder Trial the majority of the day was spent listening to a secret interview Duane Davis gave to police in 2008. Jurors heard Davis describe in his own words how he orchestrated the drive-by shooting that killed Tupac. The candid three hour long interview is a major part of the state's case and mirrors what Davis wrote in his 2019 memoir Compton Street Legend.
