#350 Judgment is Inevitable. How does God rescue His people in times of crises?

Listen Later

Are we experiencing an impending crisis? Is God's judgment forthcoming or already upon us? Regardless of what you think is happening in this world today, God's judgment IS inevitable! There is nothing new under the sun.

Today's episode takes a closer look in scripture when God's wrath fell upon the people of this world. The reasons that brought upon God's judgment are similar: the excessive and desire for wealth that led to idolatry, pride, sexual immorality, the disregard for human life, and the treatment of God's holy people. Does that sound familiar to you in today's world? It should.

If judgment is inevitable, where does America stand? Where does the Church stand? Where do you stand?

God DOES respond to repentant hearts? Consider Ninevah. Even though we receive God's forgiveness, He does not remove the consequence of sin. However, God does rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment. Recall Noah, Israel in Goshen, and Lot from prior episodes. God provided protection and provision in His rescue plan when He called them to come out and be separate from among them.

Coming out from the world today is NOT dissimilar to the world in the Bible. The occult, demonic teachings, unclean spirits, drunkenness, sensuality and sexual immorality, self-glorification, arrogance, pride, self-indulgent luxury and excess… all exist in today's culture as it did then (Rev 18). Just look at the Grammy's award spectacle. That is the world we live in today. The Body of Christ is NOT immune, nor were the Corinthians when Paul told the church to "come out from among them and be separate from them, says the Lord."

The circumstances of Sodom and Gomorrah are another great example of the ways of God's. God gave warning; He enacted judgment, and He preserved Lot and his daughters. Judgment was predicted, promised and inevitable.

When you understand the ways of God, you will be able to see the patterns in scripture to make informed decisions on how to respond in the days ahead.

What is God's rescue plan for His people? Come out and be separate unto God!
