Tip of the Week

If you want to give Snaps a try but are not on an Ubuntu based distro…don’t fret. Despite Snaps being created by Canonical…they can be used on most distros.

  • As an example:

    • Fedora just type: sudo dnf install snapd - [link]
    • With Arch Snap is available in the AUR - [link]
    • How to install in openSUSE - [link]
    • other distros - [link]
    • You may need to enable them with systemctl command post install using:

      • sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socket
      • ...more
