We live in a fallen world, a world where Satan has a temporary lease over all man-made systems thatwe all contend with as we live in the earth.
Today's episode focuses on how to live as captives in this fallen world without being a part of it. This teaching continues to build upon God's calling for believers to come out from among them and separate yourselves to God.
Let's begin with this basic fact: freedom according to the world's standards is an ILLUSION. However, you can live as a captive in this fallen world, but you don't have go along with the world's agenda. You might be trapped, but you are not stuck.
About this fallen world. The word fallen describes something or someone that is spiritually or morally corrupt, disconnected, and detached from God. Born-again believers, at one point in our lives, were spiritually disconnected from God.
Man's sin in the garden marked the beginning of man's fall, providing access to forbidden knowledge taught by fallen angels -- knowledge that God never intended man to possess.
So the world we live in is controlled by Satan, and the man-made systems (built upon forbidden knowledge) are designed for the purposes of replacing God, destroying humanity, and making one new man that will worship Satan as god.
Does that mean that you man-made systems produce bad things ALL of the time? No. Good things have come from bad systems. However, the intended purposes -- Satan's agenda -- of the systems of this world are to steal, kill, and destroy. But know this: the good that comes from man-made systems DO NOT CHANGE the nature and origin of the system.
So, we live in a fallen world has already been judged and condemned through Jesus Christ, and this world is passing away. God judged the world to show mercy upon HIS people. Yes, we have freedom from sin and death in Christ… but we're still "trapped" in this fallen world that we don't belong to.
So, what do we do about it?
Here are Five (5) Things you can do while being trapped in this world and not be stuck.
