When I surrendered my heart and desires to Jesus, I went through a deep time of grieving. At the time, I didn’t know if grieving was something I should even do because much of it was surrounding what God didn’t want for me. This is when I started learning about the Holy Spirit being my Comforter. As I started embracing this, I realized He wanted me to take this grief to Him. He wasn’t angry with me for feeling it, and He didn’t want me to shove it down or pretend it wasn’t there.
