Born into the infamous Children of God cult, Petra was raised with no formal education, no knowledge of how the world worked and under the constant pressure that she and her peers were responsible for saving the world.

She left the Cult and experienced depression, alcoholism and extreme isolation, as a Mother of two children she kept crossing lines she had drawn in the sand.

She soon came to the realisation she had a choice. She could end it all or try to find another way.

Petra’s story is brutal and full of the kind of ownership that will leave you shaking.There is hope, inspiration, love and honesty in her journey.
