After some initial feedback from our first two episodes, we decided to split each segment up for two different posts. Both are the same episode. This segment is discussing the topic of adversity in the world right now and overcoming it as a player/coach & as a person as well. An in-depth look at seniors in high school dealing with not having seasons... Episode 3 (Segment 2) will have a deep look into that with our special guest, Rockford East Senior, Carlos Brown.

On this episode, Gannon and I began our first segment by discussing my second concept I would take into utilize as a football coach, and that concept is Hudl Boards. We then dove into the topic of self-awareness and how that topic correlates to Hudl Boards and is in our every day lives as athletes and as humans. Segment one was wrapped up and in our second segment we were joined by 2x High School Basketball State Champion, All-State High School Basketball Player, D1 Arizona State Player, WNBA Player, and Overseas Professional Basketball player... Sophie comes from the 815 and is a well-known commodity in that area. Her story is gold and should be followed by every athlete who cares about being humble, having a positive outlook, and being successful.

In this episode my childhood friend, Gannon Ruckman and I discuss an introductory segment for my first podcast. My purpose of this podcast is to gather ideas, recommendations, and feedback. I want to be a football coach in the near future. In this episode we discuss my initial idea, YAP. The motto is “Knowingly more equipped/better than yesterday”. YAP is the shorter version and stands for yards after play. You have to fight to be better than yesterday. My goal of this episode is to discuss three qualities I want every player on my team to have: Leadership, Accountability, and Trust
