    1. Sarah’s really grumpy and all red heads are grumpy, so Sarah must have red hair.
    2. Everyone is either on the side of the invading aliens or on the side of the invading humans.
    3. We cannot fix the car — it’s just so broken that it’s unfixable.
    4. I saw a flock of white swans this year, and the year before — all swans must be white around here.
    5. She’s either a liar or she’s completely mad to believe that the train is coming soon.
    6. How many protests would there have been on the television if the protestors didn’t know that there’d be protests to be filmed for the television?
    7. We’re here because we’re here, that’s why.
    8. Don’t take a rock off the mountain — if everyone took one, it’d disappear in a day!
