There has persistently been a disgruntled faction within the Church that criticize, gossip, and sow strife about the religious system, the church's mission, and its leaders.

Today, we are experiencing an increasing number of believers that earnestly want more from the church. They hunger for truth and want real answers to questions that have been dismissed or have gone unaddressed. These people are leaving the religious system for internal reasons. Simply put, the church is becoming more divided.

The religious system and its leaders have responded by lumping together these two factions as one and the same. When treated as such, the pulpit is either short-sighted over the bigger picture of what's really taking place in the pews, or it is intentionally misleading, subduing and controlling God's people.

If you believe this is the case, one might suggest that the church is falling out of God's divine order. The reality is the Church is actually falling into God's divine order. So what is actually happening?

1. Rating/ judging the Church (both pulpit and pew)
2. Reclaiming and Gathering His people
3. Restoring the Remnant's allegiance to Him and His Word
4. Realigning His people to walk in Truth
5. Recommissioning His people to Stand in today's moment of trial.

Is it possible that the division in the Church today has less to do with the gossipers and the disgruntled and more to do with those seeking the Truth? To answer this question, let's discuss awakenings and revivals and the differences between the two.

Awakenings are man-made and are self-serving.They usher in people to a new reality, usually in response to a crisis event that renders people in a vulnerable state. Think 9/11 and the pandemic of 2020/21 where the objective was to steal your freedom, kill your desire to think for yourself, and hinder, damage, and destroy your relationship with God.

God will use awakenings for his Glory.

Revivals are God-initiated and are personal.Revivals usually occur during or following an awakening. Revivals impact personal relationships, marriages and society overall. God uses revivals to draw people to Himself and to change the way people think and behavior.

The crises we are experiencing today in the world are man-made awakenings; they are designed to consolidate power and money from the hands of many to hands of the few. They are also causing disturbances to what we knew as "the Church".

Awakenings make us vulnerable and distrustful, and there is a growing distrust in the church today and with its leaders. I believe this is a contributing factor to why more people in the Church are hungry for the truth.

Facts change; the narratives change, but the Truth never changes. Are you hungry for a deeper meaning of God's word, deeper relationships and more meaningful connections?
