It’s so easy to “blame” talent for the success we see in others because it makes it easy for us to blame our lack of giftedness as a reason for failure. The truth however, is that talent alone is very rarely the sole factor behind success. In fact, when studying successful people who appear to be talented you’ll tend to find that the majority of them were really just persistent and determined to reach the goal that they had firmly decided upon.
