#37 Understanding Our Ego
Biggest mentor that I’ve learned from on what’s the role of our Ego is @eckharttolle when I found his book The New Earth 6 years ago I knew aside from the Power of Now it was the second major book that really helped me changed my perspective of who I am. The new earth talks about how ego operates on an unconscious mind while The Power of Now helped me master self awareness through meditation.
I used to think by acting out or showing off or being arrogant is egoistic. It’s actually more than that. The attachments we put in our false selves in this world we live in and everything that connotes the “survival instinct” pattern is actually the ego’s operating will.
In this episode, I shared how I was able to call out myself everytime my ego comes in! We all have ego, and it will be there with us for life. It’s the matter of how we put our ego in the back seat and take over the steering wheel to move along with our life.
You know what’s so aligned with this self learning that I acquired with my journey?! It’s with my work as a Reiki Practitioner, my reiki Master once told me we have to loose our ego in embodying this gift. And I’m so grateful that I came across this book! Universe really will give everything for you in the most divine timing way and they all fit the puzzle and are meant for you for a reason!
