Having a companion animal is linked to many emotional benefits that can include decreased stress and anxiety, reduced feelings of isolation, and providing comfort. Sometimes owning a pet is exciting and fun, and other times they act in a way that make you question your life decisions; but for us, we wouldn't trade the unconditional love, the ridiculous shenanigans, and the goofy faces for anything.
