In this episode of What the F#*k Do We Know, Katie and Sam discuss diet culture!  We break down exactly what diet culture is and how it has seeped into every crevice of our lives.  Not only is diet culture everywhere, it is now in the hands of children thanks to weight watchers and their new app for children’s weight loss.  We’re here to tell you that thin does not = healthy, fat does not = unhealthy, that losing weight does not = accomplishment, and gaining weight does not = laziness.  It’s OKAY to accept your body as it is right now, it’s OKAY to eat “intuitively”, and it’s OKAY to turn your back on everything you’ve been told about weight, diets, and diet culture.  How refreshing is it to know that you don’t have live in a cycle of chronic yo-yo dieting anymore?!
