#370 Waking Up & Finding that it's Not Coffee in your Cup

Listen Later

God's people are waking up. While is seems painfully slow to many, it's moving at an accelerated pace by the likes that we haven't experienced in a very long time.

More and more believers are beginning to see the 'cracks in the mortar' of the religious institutions and leaders they once revered. People are seeing the inconsistencies between serving God and serving the religious system, and they can no longer remain silent; they cannot un-see what has been revealed.

People are waking up, but what if it's no longer coffee in their cup?

Today's episode provides valuable spirit-led guidance and key takeaways to help with your own awakening and how God provides what you will need to stand firm in the time ahead. Kindly review prior episode about "Systems" and "Reclaiming your Sovereignty" for reference.

Let's review a simple maxim about "systems". God's systems serve truth for the health, goodness and longevity of His people. Satan's man-made systems seek to hide truth, destroy humanity while preserving the system itself.

The video links below are testimonies of three clergy from the Catholic church who experience their own awakening. After 30+ years serving the Catholic church, the individuals awakened to the realization that they were serving the religious system and not God

When you hunger for truth, you too will see discrepancies and inconsistencies within systems. As more lies are exposed and coverups are revealed, when you can no longer keep silent, keep these 3 things in mind:

  1. What you are experiencing is the systems at work. The system (pre)serves itself, not God or His people.
  2. Reclaiming your sovereignty is imperative, and you do not need permission to exercise your authority and make decisions despite opposition, intimidation and interference from others.
  3. You will need SALT. Salt is your weapon. It will help to inform you as you make decisions and navigate the systems of this world.

Why SALT? Salt is both stable and indestructible -- it lasts. God used salt as the sign of provision and preservation when he entered into perpetual (permanent) covenants with the Israelites. One salt covenant  involved the Levites and their families. Another salt covenant was between God and David and his sons. Elisha also used salt to cleanse the waters of Jericho so neither death nor miscarriage would come from it. As with the Levite and the House of David, so will God provide, preserve and protect you when you face opposition from the worldly systems.

Not only has God given us salt as a weapon, He has also made us a weapon in the earth for God's Word says, "you are the salt of the earth." It is the body of believers that are staying the corruption and holding off the decay from the systems of the world today.

Yes, we are the Grace of God in a sinful world comprised of man-made systems designed to imitate God and to bring man to his destruction. If we lose our saltiness, how can we be effective? Do you have saltiness?

Key takeaways when you begin to awaken and realize that it's not coffee in your cup, and things are not what you once thought…

  1. Realize the you have stepped into the awareness of a systems that you cannot change from within.
  2. Reclaim your sovereignty. You have the authority to participate and to say NO. Sovereignty matters especially when you are afraid.
  3. You must take the weapon of SALT and has made you the weapon of His righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Salt in the Hand of God can do more than any title or position. Yes, you have the seasoning of salt in the earth to bless, to preserve, to cleanse, and to heal… and to navigate the systems of world for God's Glory.
