Welcome Friends,
I wanted to take some time to chat with you about exercise and moving our bodies as we are approaching the New Year and many people begin to make resolutions and strive for new habits.
Many times we overcomplicate things and think that we have to work out the way "fill in the blank person" does. Usually this results in not actually doing the action. So, how do we get out of our head and actually make moving our bodies a daily thing we want to accomplish and enjoy it?
I chat in this episode about these strategies and tips:
- You don't have to work out for an hour or kill yourself on the treadmill to achieve fitness
- 10,20,30 minutes a few days a week is perfect. Just use the time purposefully
- Focusing on movement every day with walking, and just getting up and around your home and environment often, choose to shop in store than online, etc.
- Decide what you're going to do for your workout beforehand. No time wasted deciding
- Focus on the long term benefits, how strength training is going to benefit your aging body and mind
- How to overcome the hard days when we don't feel like it
- How to find motivation that lasts
- KNOW YOUR REASON WHY!
I have no doubt this episode is going to bring you so many golden nuggets, truth bombs, a little hard truth, and most of all, hope! You are going to overcome whatever it is that might be hindering you from establishing this in your life. You know what needs to happen, so let's put these things into practice and watch how much success and health comes your way.
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby
