It was horrible, wasn't it? But it gives us a good piece of new vocabulary. DIY, do it yourself.

All those projects, making a shelf, etc. Where you need wood, nails, all those things. DIY in English.

And here's my experience there.

Today I am in Hombach. I never thought I would find myself in here, and here I am. I came in for four nails.

So far, I have got six different packets of nails and screws, one plant, one rubber hammer, and an extension cable. And now I am looking at Multiflex Touch Gloves. Do I really need them?

I need some gardening gloves, that's for sure, but these are really cool. I can touch this as I am talking to you, and I've got my finger in the glove. Oh my god, I think I have to have them.

So there we have it, another shopping fail for me. Thank goodness I was on my bike.
