Life often feels like wandering through a dark, tangled forest. Every rustle sounds like a threat, shadows stretch out as fears, and the path ahead is hidden in gloom. It’s a place where hope seems impossible to grow, and peace feels miles away. Yet in that very darkness, a powerful truth shines through Psalm 34:4: “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”

Why does it take a “911” moment—the kind that shakes us to our core—before we turn our eyes upward to our heavenly Father?

The answer lies in the nature of our hearts. God is not a last resort; He is always present, always attentive.

But our stubborn minds and unwillingness to surrender keep us tangled in fears and doubts. We pretend we can navigate the forest alone, forgetting to ask for the guide who knows every path.

The problem isn’t God’s absence; it’s our refusal to seek Him first. When fear rises, it often blinds us to the fact that we belong to someone far greater than our worries. That’s when we stray, lost and overwhelmed.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Seek the Lord!

But here’s the promise: you no longer have to live in fear—whether it’s fear of what has happened or what might happen.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

The invitation is simple and clear—reach out, and God will respond.

Whether you realize it or not, God’s got you in His hands. He won’t let go, even if you resist.

But He offers more than safety; He wants a relationship with you. He wants to share your life, guide your steps, and carry your burdens.

So today, stop wandering in the forest of fears. Open your heart. Ask to hear His voice. Seek Him with everything you have, and be amazed at the grace God extends and the path in which He leads you.

God is ready. Are you?
