Journaling Activity:

What is something someone important to your life really likes that you can’t understand why they spend so much time and energy on it or you just like is kind of (for lack of a better word) stupid?

Write that activity down on the top of your page. Don’t hold back.

Now, look at that activity. Write 3-5 reasons why you roll your eyes or get frustrated when they do it or even worse (they ask you to do it with them)

After listing the reasons, look for a few seconds at what you wrote.

Could there be some areas of your life where you are denying yourself of something you want to do out of pure enjoyment because you have the same beliefs about your own enjoyment listed above?

-It’ll cost too much money.
