"According to WebMd Symptoms of mental fatigue include:

-being angry or impatient

-having a hard time getting work done
-you zone out
-not sleeping well through the night
-participating in unhealthy addictions whether that be drinking or overusing social media, etc.
-feeling depressed
-worrying a lot
-exercise feels harder
-eating habits change (overindulgence or not eating enough)
-making more mistakes
-feeling pain in your neck, head, shoulders or stomach"


Journaling prompt:

Write down 3-5 things on the back of your mind you feel like you need to get done today or in the next few days.

Here are some different ways to give your mind a mental break: Go for a 15-30 minute walk, a short yoga or meditation practice, journal for 10-15 minutes, exercise for a long or as short as you can, hangout with your pet, do an activity you enjoy and allow yourself to be completely present while doing it. No podcasts or audiobooks while you do that activity.

Just pick one to do today or sometime this week.  Schedule it if you have to but try to do it today.
