History shows that during times of tragedy, the public turn to the radio. 3AW's recent enourmous success during covid is a classic example.  But it was first noticed in 1983 during the aftermath of the Ash Wednesday bushfires.  IT is testament to the hard work of the producers, presenters and newsroom that the public turns to 3AW
