Build a countdown clock to help teach toddlers how to visualize time.

This project uses NeoPixel LEDs to represent blocks of time that can be setup to countdown any number of minutes.

It features an OLED display to show the time remaining and a rotary encoder to set up the intervals and to start and stop the countdown.

You can customize the blocks of time in the code and easily cycle between them with the rotary encoder.

We think it's a unique way to show the passage of time with NeoPixel LEDs.

This uses the Adafruit QT PY RP2040 dev board to drive the NeoPixels and the rotary encoder.

CircuitPython makes it easy to change up the code so you can make adjustments or adapt to your roll your own countdown timer.

You can customize the code to have different blocks of time or change the colors of the NeoPixel LEDs.

Put a spin on your videos with this motorized turntable. Turn the IKEA Snudda lazy susan into a motorized table top using CircuitPython and electronics from Adafruit.

Use a stepper motor and the silent TMC2209 driver to give the tabletop a twirl. This project allows you to achieving smooth motion for filming your projects. With an OLED screen and rotary encoder, you can change the direction, adjust speed and have start and stop control.

Turn an old Apple Watch into a mini iPod!

Use BLE on a Feather ESP32 S3 running CircuitPython with an ANO rotary encoder wheel to control the watch interface.

This project features the ANO rotary encoder wheel. It’s got four directional buttons and a center button for scrolling and clicking. It’s essentially a wireless USB controller that pairs with an Apple Watch over BLE. It’s inspired by The Tiny Pod project we saw online, to make an open source and hackable version!
