To play a movie, just tap an NFC card over the 3D printed case. A python script runs code that launches movies in the VLC media player.

The NFC cards are fitted inside a 3D printed case inspired by VHS cassette tapes.

This project aims to make the movie watching experience more special by creating a physical experience. No streaming networks or wifi necessary!

This code includes an editable prompt file called bookprompt.txt, so you can dictate the character names, story length, writing style, or any other parameters you'd like. Your daughter will love reading stories about herself and her cat as they adventure through an endless world of imagination, in the style of Dr. Seuss!
