Travis Mayberry is the Technical Area Lead for Additive Manufacturing at Raytheon Missiles and Defense. He has been with Raytheon for 13 years and recently graduated with his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University through the Raytheon Advanced Studies Program while working part-time. He has a background in design, thermal system architecture, and metal additive manufacturing. He currently leads the Additive Manufacturing Internal Research and Development efforts for Raytheon Missiles and Defense, and is involved in a number of cross-Raytheon Technologies efforts in additive. He has presented over 60 technical presentations internally and externally, and holds 13 patents and 4 trade secrets with Raytheon.
