Ashley Totin is a Senior Project Engineer for America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute. Ashley received her BE and MSE in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Youngstown State University. Previously as a Engineering Project Manager at the Youngstown Business Incubator, her work focused on analyzing business models for the use of additive manufacturing for aerospace maintenance and sustainment. Through her career she has developed 3D Printing curriculum for students and teachers and hosted camps and after school programs that deal with the new technology. She joins the show today to talk about what she’s seeing in the Additive manufacturing sector today and how national consortiums like America Makes are impacting manufacturing around the county.
