As of October 8, the world is left wondering why six Mars orbiters controlled by NASA (2), the European Space Agency (2), and the space agencies of China and the United Arab Emirates have only released one image of 3I/Atlas as an indistinct dot as it reached perihelion with Mars on October 3. The image was released on October 7 by the ESA’s ExoMars orbiter.
