In a phone call with Winston Amoah, the host of 3FM's SUNRISE morning show program, the spokesperson of the National Chief Imam Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu has chided the media for taking minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation Prof Kwabena Frimpong out of context when he suggested Muslims should resort to mobile phone and social media to call for prayers (Azan) in order to reduce noise pollution.

Sheik Aremeyaw revealed that the issue has resurrected some bitterness among the Muslim populace and called on the national Peace council and National Security to act swiftly to avoid mayhem.

Peter Awin sits down with 3FM's SUNRISE host Winstone Amoah to discuss his company, Cowtribe on the morning show's 'My Start Up' segment. Cowtribe was born out of farmers’ frustration with the poor and unreliable animal vaccine delivery in Ghana. In 2015, while working with farmers in the rural part of northern Ghana and Peter and his partner, Alima discovered that while the majority of farmers depended on animals as a key source of livelihood, most of them were losing close to 40% of their animals annually mainly to the high prevalence of livestock diseases.

Digging deeper, they discovered that losses were quite lower among the few farmers (less than 15%) who had access to veterinary services like vaccines that can protect their animal from these dangerous diseases. In Ghana, the government is still the main buyer of vaccines, which it supplies to providers to distribute to farmers in their catchment area.
