The Ashanti Regional Deputy Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress, Comrade Asafo Adjei has confirmed the demonstration to be embarked by the Coalition for Social Justice dubbed “Kum Yen Preko”.

One on one with the head of publicity, Ghana Statistical services, Mr. Francis Nyarko Larbi on the institution’s preparation towards 2020 population Census. The population census is designed to take place every 10 years and as result, Ghana has already conducted 11.

Mr. Larbi on Onua FM’s Yen Sempa hosted by Bright Kwasi Asempa stated, “the census will employ more technology at this time”. He added, “they are looking at a region of about 60000 citizens at the end of the census”.

Report from a survey conducted by the Ghana Standards Authority has stated that about 10 fuel stations including Goil and Shell are under-delivering fuel to its customers.

Chair of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies and Managing Director for Strategic Communications Authority, Jonny Blagogee and the Director of Corporate Communications, Ghana Standards Authority, Dr. Kofi Bediako Amponsah were both interviewed on the issue. Dr. Bediako advised customers to be vigilant at fuel stations and should be able to identify a green sticker on the fuel dispenser machine before doing any transaction.

Mr. Jonny Blagogee also admitted that they are aware of the issue and there are no sanctions at the moment against the culprits.
