Whilst over 2 million children are entitled to free school meals everyday by way of food parcels during the pandemic, many concerns have been raised by parents, the Government and by celebrities and a sports star, Marcus Rashford, that some of the food parcels received by parents were just 'not good enough'.
Photos of food parcels have been circulating on social media showing bits of vegetables and fruit and scraps of food in what seem to be in money bags.
But what are the Government and the schools obligated to deliver to your child as a free school meal? Where do you go if you have sub-standard food parcels being delivered for your child's lunch?
Get Legally Speaking podcast host and lawyer Hatti Suvari discusses the issue with 3PB barrister Emma Waldron.
