#124 John Olsen All Things Paranormal Research & Evidence
John was born and raised in Cache Valley.  At the age of 8, he began to realize that the home he lived in was peculiar. His parents still own the old farmhouse, built in the mid-1880s. Strange experiences such as phantom knocks, loud boots running the stairs, and missing objects became commonplace for him as he grew up.  With each run-in with what he called the “man in the hat,” John’s interest in the paranormal grew. His parents forbade him from telling anyone of his experiences for fear of what others in the small community would think.

He found solace in learning everything he could about his encounters from library books. As he reached his teen years, his friends would visit his home and have their own experiences.  This opened the door for him to tell others of his experiences. he shared his extraordinary stories, friends of friends came to him sharing stories of their brushes with the supernatural.

Fueled by his own experiences with the unknown, John has spent the last 25 years interviewing and documenting first-hand accounts of those who have witnessed all kinds of strange and unusual phenomena in the western United States. The Stranger Bridgerland series contains firsthand accounts of ghosts, monsters, hauntings, glitches in the matrix, Sasquatch, and UFOs.

I enjoyed My conversation with John and look forward to speaking with him again in the future, his books are great reads and can be found on Amazon or his website listed below.

#120 Pastor Slayden MacGregor GOD & Faith What Exactly Is It
Pastor Slayden MacGregor, ThM Dallas Theological Seminary, has pastored Gateway Bible Church
(formerly Faith Evangelical Free Church) for 25 years in Spring Hill, Florida USA. Along with being a
pastor, Slayden has traveled extensively evangelizing and teaching for nearly 40 years in Japan, USSR,
Russia, Spain, Central and South America, Haiti, and Africa. Stateside he has taught part-time as an
adjunct professor at Trinity Bible College and Saint Leo University. Slayden and Kathleen MacGregor
have been married since 1986 and together have raised four sons two of which are married; they have
four grandchildren. Slayden’s passion is bible training that sets the entire bible in an easily understood
context of God’s Plan of the Ages.
The course he teaches to pastors consists of training in three categories (tools):
1. A survey of systematic theology—a unique way for the bible student to “think theologically.”
2. A survey of biblical covenants—knowing the infrastructure of the bible.
3. A survey of God’s Plan from eternity past to eternity future tying all three categories together.
If the student reads through the bible yearly by applying these three tools, he or she will be able to
understand the books of the bible in a much clearer context arriving at an increasingly sound exegesis.
On A Panoramic Study of God’s Plan https://www.amazon.com/Panoramic-Study-Gods-Plan/dp/151276051X:
Pastor Slayden MacGregor provides one of the most concise, yet comprehensive studies of God’s plan. This
incredible little book has been translated into seven languages and is designed to be read in only a couple
sittings yet used as a paradigm for Bible study for a lifetime. To comprehend the material in this book is to
receive a seminary understanding of the plan and purposes of God. These pages answer the toughest
questions of theology, origins, pain, and suffering, good and evil, and man’s freedom of choice in God’s
sovereign plan. In it, you’ll view the whole Bible from an eternal vantage point, obtaining a context for all
human and angelic history. Slayden MacGregor has developed and used the material in this book to teach
and train pastors in many different countries for over 28 years and now these truths are condensed in a
profound story-like study.
This simple and clear teaching will engage the reader on a whole new level of understanding of his/her role in
the epic battle of good and evil that wages in the spirit realm. The bible student will learn more about God,
Satan, and themselves than they’ve ever thought imaginable.
