  • #31 - Special Guest, Week 4 Recap, and Antarctica is a Desert

In this episode of 3rd & Wrong, Steve and Austyn are joined by a special guest in Zach's absence. They get right into it with the 2-minute Drill, and discuss the big storylines coming out of Week 4.

We saw improvement from our listeners with some solid questions and takes in our Fantasy Mailbag! Next, the guys broke down a few matchups heading into Week 5, highlighted by the Rams @ Seattle on Thursday Night Football.

Stepping into the Canadian Corner, the guys discuss the trouncing of the Blue Bombers at the hands of... Dane Evans *instert "huh" gif here*. They discuss the Eskimos hope of playoffs, and some bad news that awaits the Ottawa Redblacks regime. Next, they talk about the Riders dismantling of the Argos hopes and dreams, with some sad boi hours for Austyn as he recounts the heart-breaking Montreal Alouettes loss.

Finishing off the episode with Coward of the Week, they discuss Vontaze Burfict's history in the NFL which now includes a season-long ban from the league for his dirty play. Is he the dirtiest player in NFL's 100 year history? Listen to find out!

  • #30 - Daniel Jones Shines, Pats Make History & Vernon Adams Jr.'s Suspension

We turned 30! Just 20 more episodes until our mid-pod crisis! Steve, Auzzie & Zach waste no time to...talk about the weather? But after that, they jumped right into the Two Minute Drill recapping another crazy week in the NFL before diving deeper into the Eagles injury woes, Seahawks and Browns losses and the Patriots defence making history.

Steve and Zach then issue Auzzie a formal apology for making fun of his Buccaneers/Giants pick for game of the week in Episode 29. Daniel Jones lit it up but should it be enough to turn haters into believers?

In this week's fantasy mailbag, the guys tackle which tight-ends go after in the waiver wire for those playing that position on a week-to-week basis. The fellas then preview the four biggest games heading into Week 4.

On Canadian Corner, Auzzie tells his story of watching the Alouettes/Bombers game with a Bombers fan, but not knowing he was a Bombers fan until the end of the game. Also covered is the benching of McLeod Bethel-Thompson, Vernon Adams Jr's suspension and all the fellas picks for Week 16.

Finally, on Coward of the Week, the guys nominate everyone flip-flopping on their Daniel Jones criticism after just one good game. What's the fun in having spicy takes if you're going to abandon them after such a short period of time? Cowards.

  • #29 - A Bad Week for NFL QBs; Fantasy Mailbag; CFL Preview

The guys kick off the episode fast and furious with the Two Minute Drill, recapping Week 2 games which proved to be a rough week for multiple starting quarterbacks. A big trade goes down on Monday Night Football, and a star CB requests a trade.

Seeing some improvement from your Fantasy Mailbag questions a week ago, the guys delve into surprise breakout players, as well as some QB takes.

Stepping into the Canadian Corner, Steve laments the retirement of a famed Saskatchewan WR; a recap of some tight games, and a preview of this week's games that includes Andrew Harris coming back from suspension.

The Coward of the Week is not a single player, but an entire organization. Enjoy the slander!

  • #28 - NFL Week 1 Recap, Canadian Corner & Coward of the Week

Steve, Auzzie and Zach are fired up to bring you the recap from all of the NFL's Week One games in under 2 min (we'll see how successful they were). They then slowed it down to discuss some of the more important matchups and bigger storylines from the first week in the NFL including a wild Monday Night Football game between the Saints and Texans.

The fellas then open up the fantasy mailbag only to find takes related to Philly Cheesesteak and Lamar Jackson potentially having a better career than Michael Vick. They hope to have better luck next week (send in your Fantasy Football questions, cowards.)

Shifting gears to Canadian Corner the guys recap a less than stellar week in CFL football with a majority of the games being blowouts. Steve refuses to discuss the Banjo Bowl and the guys all give their picks for this week's set of games.

A new segment, Coward of the Week is introduced as 3rd & Wrong unanimously anoints Antonio Brown as this week's Coward of the Week.

Finally, the guys give their thoughts on some of the marquee matchups heading into Week 2 of the NFL.

  • #25 - Preseason Overreactions, Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Trouble? & More

Steve and Auzzie welcome Zach to his first official FULL episode of 3rd & Wrong as co-host. Pre-season recap is first on the docket as the guys try to figure out the balance of reactions when it comes to evaluating young quarterback’s performances. Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins are both vying for starting positions with their young teams and have uphill battles ahead.

Chargers bad injury luck continues to follow them into the 2019 season with Derwin James and Keenan Allen both missing significant time in camp. Eagles signed Josh McCown when Colin Kaepernick is still on the market has all of us scratching our heads, this leads to the discussion if Jay-Z sold-out with his NFL partnership.

Jimmy G is another hot topic after his 0.0 rating in his first game back since his torn ACL, find out if Steve and Zach let their bias dictate if this performance is indicative of his regular-season projections.

Good Take/Bad Take has Baker Mayfield on the hot seat with his negative comments on Daniel Jones.

Luke is back in the Listener Submissions with another Panthers take. Zach TEARS into Cam Newton (it’s so harsh we can’t put it in print, you’ll have to listen).

Tell it to my ass sees the return of a regular client, Colin Cowherd on his Trevor Lawrence comments.

Finally, Canadian Corner has the guys discussing the prospects of Winnipeg keeping pace in the West Division with the injury sustained by starting quarterback Matt Nichols. Taylor Loffler’s devastating ACL injury is also discussed. Finally, this week’s picks are made with a few upset picks.

The fellas are back for Episode 24 and waste no time getting into recapping the busy first week of pre-season. Some overreactions to correct including but not limited to Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins' first performances on an NFL field.

In Good Take/ Bad Take, Auzzie and Steve go at the listener submissions including one that proclaimed Dak should get paid because of his... win totals? Other submissions include predictions for a few key Carolina Panthers weapons and the Chicago Bears prospects of getting to the big game.

Steve tries to mend his friendship with Auzzie on Canadian Corner after the shortened Riders/Alouettes game has created a divide between the two. They also offer up picks for the week and they try their hand at prediction the rest of the West with the halfway point of the season looming.

NFL Preseason is officially here, and Austyn and Steve waste no time getting into some bad news that comes from the first round of games. They then discuss the Hall of Fame inductees that include some familiar faces. Austyn tries his best to explain Tom Brady's new contract which has some interesting stipulations; the status of Zeke Elliott's holdout; and the offers that the Cowboys have given for three of their big stars.

Listener Submissions included some Patriots hype, Seahawks hype, and the guys' top 5 MVP candidates for 2019 which brought some heated debate.

Good Take/Bad Take had a take that the guys wholly disagreed with, a Week 1 of Preseason overreaction, and a fall from grace for one of 2018s playoff contenders out of the NFC...
