It's the last game of the 2026 regular season and John and Keith are on hand to bring you all the action. Each team comes into this match up woth something to lose and something to gain, the last time these teams faced off Elkin won out 60-53, Elkin seeks to continue their streak at home after taking the win on January 9th in Hays. North Wilkes meanwhile seeks to regain their footing and some confidence after their 3 point senior night loss to West Wilkes in Hays when they took the fall 51-49 and send their seniors off into the perverbial collegiate sunset with a win. 

It's Senior Night in Hays as the North Wilkes Vikings face off against the West Wilkes Blackhawks! The boys in blue and white have had quite a run lately with victories all the way back to January 19th. 63-54 over Starmount High School, 72-55 over West Wilkes High School, 62-42 over East Wilkes High School, 61-57 over Starmount, 55-53 over Wilkes Central High School, 69-62 over Ashe County High School — the Vikings ripped off six straight wins before falling 57-50 to Alleghany High School on February 11th. West Wilkes comes into this game with two straight losses to their credit, the first of which was in Sparta at Alleghany where they fell 57-50 and most recently Ashe County came to Millers Creek and won big 71-54. 

After the chaos of Winter Storm Fern, John and Keith are back at the broadcast table to bring you a conference clash between North Wilkes and Wilkes Central! The Vikings are riding high on a three game win streak (Starmount, 61-57. East Wilkes, 62-42. West Wilkes, 72-55) As they look to make it to four straight wins in their last four games, the loss to Wilkes Central on December 19th in Hays is sure to be top of mind for fans, coaches and players alike. The Eagles, meanwhile, come into this game nursing their wounds after a 68-66 loss to Alleghany on Friday, February 6th. 

It's basketball night in Ronda! John and Keith are on hand for an epic clash between the North Wilkes Vikings and their rivals hailing from "just across the river" the East Wilkes Cardinals.

There are bragging rights on the line in Moravian Falls! John and Keith are on hand for a dramatic rematch of one of the great Wilkes County rivalries. This week, in the first game of two for the week of January 19-23 Head Coch Logan Call's North Wilkes Vikings take on the West Wilkes Blackhawks under the command of Coach Josh Phipps.  

This week, John and Keith are in Hays for a matchup between North Wilkes and Alleghany. The 5-9 Trojans are led into Viking Country by senior John Lemasters who leads the team in 3 categories this season (Points Per Game: 13.4 Rebounds Per Game: 7.0 and Steals Per Game: 1.2) North Wilkes seeks to defend their home court with the 6'0 senior shooting guard Miles Berrier leading the charge. the team is 6-7 on the year.

The first high school basketball action of 2026 is here! This week, John and Keith put the headsets on in Moravian Falls North Carolina as the Wilkes Central Eagles seek to defend their home court against the Elkin Buckin' Elks.
